Ian Rainbolt serves as the Vice President of Finance of Warwick Group. He is responsible for all acquisitions, divestitures, capital planning and underwriting activities.
Ian began his career at BMO Capital Markets in Houston, Texas as an investment banking analyst in their Energy group.
Prior to joining Warwick, Ian was with ConocoPhillips (COP) in Houston where he served in a number of roles. Immediately prior to leaving COP, he was the Planning and Budgeting Supervisor for the Rockies Business Unit. For the preceding 3 years, Ian was a part of the corporate Strategy & Portfolio Management team where he worked closely with executive leadership to analyze, recommend and set the long-term strategic direction for the Company. Ian was a key contributor to the analysis and recommendations for COP’s divestiture & share repurchase programs laid out in its November 2016 Analyst Day as well as the decisions to exit deepwater exploration and reduce the company dividend by more than $2B annually. Ian’s previous roles at COP were in its Anchorage, Alaska office and included Planning and Budgeting Coordinator for the Alaska business unit and Commercial Analyst for its Western North Slope asset.
Ian holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance and an MBA from the McCombs School of Business.
